Plot summary
Alma is fifteen and lives in the small Norwegian town of Skoddeheimen, where her sexual awakening fills her days and her fantasies run from Artur, a boy at her school, to people she merely lays eyes on. She calls phone-sex hotlines without her mother knowing. One night she goes to a party with her friends. Artur comes after her outside, exposes himself and pokes her with his penis. Alma is thrilled and tells her friends about it. Her friends are skeptical, and Artur obliquely denies the story, so she is ostracized for slander at her school and bullied there with a nickname.
