Plot summary
After a commercial airliner goes down on an uncharted island, the survivors are a multi-cultural cross-section of the American public, several of them from Tromaville. They notice armed, uniformed men of various nationalities who seem to be looking for survivors. One passenger surrenders herself and is shot. The island is a camp where terrorists train. Parker, a tough and slightly unstable Vietnam veteran, and Taylor, an everyman passenger, lead the others toward a safe haven.

Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The MPAA rejected Troma's War as too violent to even get an R rating, so scenes including the entire AIDS subplot were cut; a second rejection brought heavier cuts, and MPAA president Richard Heffner told co-director Michael Herz the film was "no fucking good".
- Troma's War had a budget of $3 million, which made it the most expensive film Troma had made up to that point.
