Plot summary
Lin Ho-lung and his brother Lin Ho-tung lead a Hong Kong triad. At the first birthday party of Lin Ho-lung's infant son, a child born to his mistress, Inspector Liu Chi-chung arrives outside the club to say the gang will hold no more parties without police approval. That night officers raid a drug shipment being handled by Tung, Lin Ho-lung's right hand and the gang's assassin, along with Lok Tin-hung and a dealer named Wu. Shots are exchanged, Wu is arrested, and he refuses to cooperate with the police. Wu's wife Tracy approaches Lin Ho-lung's wife Soso and demands $20 million, saying her husband will expose the gang if it is not paid.
