Plot summary
A narrator tells how the group came together in El Cerrito, California, the records they put out as Tommy Fogerty & the Blue Velvets and The Golliwogs, and the signing with Fantasy Records. The story reaches 1970, when Creedence Clearwater Revival toured Europe at a time the Beatles had broken up. The larger part of the film is the whole set from the Royal Albert Hall in London on April 14, 1970, twelve songs in all. That footage had gone unseen until the film came out, and it is the only complete concert film of the original lineup. An album of the concert was released at the same time.
