Plot summary
In 1991, two years after the adventure that took them through Romania, Pago, Rice and Bibi have settled back into lives that are quiet and monotonous. Bibi has been corresponding for months with Yuliya, a Bulgarian girl, and when he decides to travel to Sofia to meet her, Pago and Rice make the journey with him. Yuliya hides a secret, and the visit pulls the three Italians into an international intrigue, with Balkan crime on one side and the Italian secret services on the other. Odd coincidences give the impression that the three of them are spies, and misunderstandings follow one after another.
