Plot summary
Pollution has overrun the Infinite Ocean, and the Trix witches go to the emperor's underwater throne seeking its power. The throne summons the nymph Politea instead and obeys only Tritannus, so the witches make a bargain with her: they will pull Tritannus out of Oblivion with a prince's vital force, and he will bring her the Pearl of the Deep. In Gardenia, Bloom is spending a day with her fiancé, Prince Sky, when the Trix attack. She escapes with Sky but cannot stop them from seizing Kiko, and when she returns for him she is knocked out and the witches carry Sky away to the Infinite Ocean, where he is bound to the throne. At Alfea, Bloom's friends pledge to help her reach the ocean, but Tritannus has sealed every gateway except the portal through Oblivion.
