Plot summary
Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond made their first attempt at what they hoped would be a perfect road trip in 2013. It began well and then went badly, so the Top Gear hosts return for a second crack, hoping to avoid the sort of trouble that comes with the French police. Both men are after joy and perfection. For their research they drive a variety of cars chosen for speed, good looks and excitement, taking them along fine roads in Mediterranean sunshine and handsome scenery. The pair also set themselves ridiculous challenges and stunts, which include a race on Capri.
