Plot summary
Tom's owners move to a new house without him, because he is busy chasing Jerry the mouse. A bulldog drives him into the empty house, and the next morning a wrecking ball levels it, leaving the cat and the mouse on the street. There they meet Puggsy, a stray dog, and Frankie, his flea companion, and discover that they can talk. Robyn Starling is a runaway whose widowed father was reportedly killed in an avalanche in Tibet. Her fortune is held by her guardian, Aunt Pristine Figg, and Figg's lawyer Lickboot, who see the girl as their way of keeping the family fortune.
