Greg Burson

Biography

Greg Burson was an American voice actor who was born in Anaheim and died in 2008. Trained by Daws Butler, he took over many of Butler's characters after Butler's death, beginning with Yogi Bear on The New Yogi Bear Show. He also inherited Mr. Magoo for the animated parts of the 1997 live action film. As one of Mel Blanc's successors, Burson voiced Bugs Bunny in the 1995 short Carrotblanca and the 1997 short From Hare to Eternity, and provided Bugs's voice for Bugs 'n' Daffy from 1995 to 1998. He voiced numerous other Looney Tunes characters, including Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, across Warner Bros. television, films, toys, and video games. His other credits included CatDog, Batman: The Animated Series, Samurai Jack, Garfield and Friends, and the feature film Jurassic Park (1993). He also voiced characters in three Star Wars video games and did promos for Fox Kids.
