Plot summary
Jim Arnaud is a police officer. His mother has died, and he is going through a divorce from Rosalind. The two are fighting over custody of their daughter, Crystal. At his mother's funeral he gives a speech about her and the Bruce Springsteen song she sang to him, then tries to dance to it. The CD player fails. After an incident at work, the captain sends Jim home, where he repairs the dance school his mother once ran.
