Frank Mosley

Frank Mosley is a Texas-born filmmaker and actor who studied English literature at the University of Texas at Arlington. After a breakout role in Justin D. Hilliard's The Other Side of Paradise, which earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 2009 AOF Festival, he appeared in films including Shane Carruth's Upstream Color (2013), Eric Steele's Cork's Cattlebaron, Jon Jost's They Had It Coming, Brandon Colvin's Sabbatical, and Zachary Shedd's Americana. His lead performance in Cameron Bruce Nelson's Some Beasts drew praise from Truth On Cinema. A 2015 Berlinale Talent, he also collected a 2011 Langdon Review of the Arts in Texas award, a 2012 Culture Column Award and a 2013 Visionary Award from FW Weekly. As a director, he made the features Hold and Her Wilderness, and his films and video installations have screened at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Edinburgh Art Festival. He co-founded the Dallas film series Family Movie Night.
