Plot summary
An unnamed virus spreads through the world's population, and within weeks it has reached communities and cities everywhere. Those who die of it come back, and their bodies keep moving until they can no longer hold together. The story arrives as three video diaries. A unit of British army soldiers clears a farmhouse cluster with two scientists, who sample tissue from a civilian body that appears to have been reanimated. In London, the public greets the approaching disease with dismissal and paranoia. A documentary crew of four drives into the countryside to shoot material about the virus, and the outbreak meets them there.
