Plot summary
Real estate sales give Edward Stewart his cover for a trade in killing, and the clients who hire him pay handsomely. His targets are cheating spouses. A chance encounter with Jenny, a single mother, wears away at the edges of his world, and her patient influence turns him away from murder. Edward cannot keep both his old life and the new one, and he faces a choice between risking his life and losing what calls to him.
