Plot summary
Marcus Lund falls for Wendy when he hears her sing at a gig, but she is gone before he can introduce himself, and during the show he has a seizure. Doctors then find a brain tumor, and the surgery would take his hearing. His brother Alex died getting him out of a fire at their home, and Marcus still listens to the music Alex left behind. He writes down fifty sounds he wants to record and drives off to capture them.
