Marc and Rebeca arrive at the Basque farmhouse that belonged to Rebeca's grandparents and agree to write the history of their parents. Marc tells of his mother Nuria, in the summer of 1991 at the family house in Costa Grande, where Olmo Mendoza, her father's driver and bodyguard, drives her away and says the Georgian mafia wanted the house.
