Plot summary
Twelve-year-old Pamela Wagner is on vacation in Northern California with her mother, Darcy Wagner, at a bed-and-breakfast on River Bend Road. A girl from the neighboring house says the legend of the Tooth Fairy is true: long ago the Tooth Fairy killed a great many children and took their teeth. In her account, the Tooth Fairy has come back, and Pamela is the child she wants. Anyone who gets in the way becomes a target too, and the Tooth Fairy does not let up.
