Plot summary
In a small town, Jamie Vaughn sells books, and her store is not the only one in trouble. A Portland property developer has moved to close a group of local businesses there. Sawyer O'Dell, the architect on that project, is someone Jamie was once involved with. Valentine's Day is near, the closures look close at hand, and Jamie works on a plan she hopes will keep her shop open. She also has to decide what she still feels for Sawyer.
