The State-Mafia Pact (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

A troupe of actors stages the episodes of the affair known in Italy as the State-Mafia Pact, the negotiation that the Italian state and Cosa Nostra are said to have conducted after the bombings of 1992 and 1993. The parts run from mobsters and secret service agents to high officials and magistrates, from victims and murderers to Freemasons, and to people who are honest or hold their courage only up to a point. The accounts reach the state's concessions in exchange for an end to the massacres, the assassinations of Falcone and Borsellino, and the dealings described between the Mafia and politics, the church and law enforcement.
