Plot summary
It is Christmas, 1971. Clara and Samantha are the only two students who have stayed at Blackvale Academy, a boarding school for girls, over the holiday. Their teacher Rose is staying there too, along with her boyfriend Jimmy. Nearby towns have been shaken by a series of ritualistic killings carried out by four people: Jude, Maisie, Grant and Doug. Maisie built the murders around a demon-summoning ritual she found in a spellbook when she was a student at the school. A run-in with a police officer pushes the four to look for somewhere to hide.
