Plot summary
A microwave fire in Isabella's Manhattan salon costs her the savings she had put aside for travel, and the assistant of her landlord insists she pay for the damage. The prince of Lavania, Thomas, is in New York and asks his assistant Walter to arrange a haircut; Walter calls Isabella's salon by mistake, and she accepts the fee he offers. Cutting the prince's hair, she is upset by how a housekeeper is treated and leaves before finishing. Thomas comes to the salon so she can finish, and afterward the two walk to the metro together. He is engaged to marry Lauren, and the royal wedding still needs a stylist.
