The Posthuman Project (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

Denny Burke is almost through high school, and his senior year has been hard on him. It brought a broken leg, a broken heart and a home that came apart. He heads out with four close friends on a rock-climbing trip, a last chance to show he is ready for the grown-up life waiting after graduation. On the climb, something changes the five of them: each comes away with a genetic boost far past anything they expected. Denny now faces a choice about those powers, whether to set them aside and stay an ordinary teenager or hold on to them.
