Plot summary
Janet, a politician in the parliamentary opposition, is now shadow minister for health, and she has invited friends to her house for a small celebration. April comes with her estranged German partner Gottfried, a life coach who calls himself a spiritual healer. Martha, a professor of women's studies, brings her partner Jinny, a renowned chef. Janet's colleague Marianne, who works under her, is expected with her husband Tom, a younger banker. Janet's husband Bill sits in his chair listening to jazz and drinking as the guests arrive.
