Plot summary
In her tailoring boutique, the sweet-faced and long-suffering dressmaker Pelagia Karaboubouna has had enough of the absurd complaints that her customers bring her, and when yet another woman arrives with one, she shows her out the door. An unexpectedly liberal and adventurous proposition then prepares the ground for a magnificent transformation, and the modest dressmaker becomes the celebrated Parisian couturière Madame Pélagie. As Madame Pélagie she sets out to dazzle the sophisticated haut monde of Mykonos, with a lively motley crew of fashionistas around her. The designer and her companions do a very poor job of laying low.

- In the film Η Παριζιάνα, Kostas Voutsas appeared as an extra in only one scene, at the 25:35 mark in the Mykonos hotel, as a guest whose sole line is «Αχ! Ο κάλος μου» after Pelagia steps on him; for attentive viewers, Rena Vlachopoulou never actually stepped on Voutsas.
