The One Man Band (1970) on Netflix

Plot summary

Evan Evans owns and manages a ballet company in Monaco, where the troupe is rehearsing a new show before a tour. He runs his dancers strictly: weight gain and private lives are forbidden, and they must devote themselves to the dance. Philippe, his nephew, is the only man in the group, and Françoise is his assistant. When one of the women leaves to get married, Evans holds auditions with the two of them to find a replacement. A newcomer, Endrika, impresses him with her talent, and he welcomes her into the company. Like the rest, she is told to give up any romantic engagement.
