Plot summary
A thief in Jerusalem carries off a rabbi's journal and the disc that holds his program for reading prophecies out of the Torah. The rabbi had torn the page with the final code from the journal and hidden it, and two prophets find that page. The stolen program then turns up prophecies that guide Stone Alexander, a media mogul who chairs the European Union and has nearly ended world hunger with advances in nutritional technology. Alexander invites Gillen Lane, an author and motivational speaker, to serve as his Minister of Information, and lets each decoded prophecy steer his climb toward ruling the world. Bombs planted at holy sites in Israel, Muslim and Jewish, catch American reporter Cassandra Barashe in one of the blasts.
