Plot summary

A knee injury ends Joe Mulligan's basketball career, and he sells drugs alongside his former coach, Bobby Zan. Joe dreams of a cooking show. Drug lord William Spinks has a fixation on Sadie Hill, and he turns to family friends Bobby and Frank to reach her. When Sadie dies in an accident, a drug deal is left in jeopardy, and Bobby and Frank settle on a lookalike to present to Spinks. Bobby offers Joe money for the cooking show if he finds the girl. Joe's half-brother Holt owes Vincent 100,000 dollars by Sunday, so Joe promises him the same amount. At the bar Joe meets Mila, who has a prosthetic leg, is deaf, and has stopped her chemotherapy. Aspiring actress Lacey Fitzgerald, who could pass for Sadie, treats the swap as a role that might revive her career.
