The Legend of Halloween Jack (2018) on Netflix

Plot summary

Dunwich is a seaside town that marks Halloween with a celebration each year, and the residents are getting ready for the next one. A small group among them shares a secret dating from twelve months earlier. Jack Cain, a notorious criminal, had escaped conviction, so these people took the law into their own hands, put him to death and buried the body in a cornfield nearby, agreeing never to speak his name again. On the night when the living and the dead are said to be closest, a figure begins to appear around the town, and the members of the group are the ones it seeks.
