Plot summary
A virus has spread across the world, and the dead rise from it to attack the living. Australia has escaped so far, protected by a hard border policy and by detention facilities where arrivals are held. Derek Jones serves with the High Risk Response Unit, the force sent into those facilities when order breaks down. A mysterious girl arrives at the Briar's Hill Detention Centre, where an uprising is under way.
