Plot summary
Mick, once the local don of a South London crime family, left his criminal enterprise to his son Slips, and died before showing him where the proceeds were kept. Slips concludes the key lies in a safe deposit box at a well-protected bank, and assembles a team of old school villains: Waldorf, the patriarchal one, who takes the job while declaring it his last heist; Fisherman, who cracks jokes and leers; and Prozac, a nervous newcomer to the gang. All four agree beforehand that after the robbery each will travel to a separate safe house, its location kept from the others, and meet again six months later at the club Mick left to Slips, where Dina manages the bar, to split the proceeds and review the job.
