Plot summary
Phillip Reed, a Los Angeles divorce attorney, is done with casual one-night stands and wants something serious. At the zoo he meets Gloria Franklin, who introduces herself as Marsha Lyons and says nothing about the wedding to Jason Elliot in two weeks. Jason is leaving for a bachelor party weekend in Las Vegas, a trip he never mentioned, and Gloria, who considers a last fling barbaric, is not pleased. Her friend Mimi urges her to make a call of her own. A call to Jason's Las Vegas room is answered by another woman, and Gloria, feeling betrayed, phones Phillip and invites him to the beach house her family owns in Acapulco for the weekend.
