Plot summary
Elle Evans and Lee Flynn grew up as best friends. By her junior year of high school, Elle has never told anyone about her secret crush on Noah, Lee's popular older brother. Elle's mother falls ill when Elle is eleven and dies three years later. On the first day of the school year a classmate, Tuppen, touches her inappropriately; Noah fights him, and the three of them are given detention. Elle and Lee suggest a kissing booth to raise money for the school. At a party, Elle tells Olivia, Mia and Gwyneth that Noah will take part, though he has already refused.
