Plot summary
Daniel spent his working life as an A&R man at a major music company until the job ended and he took a place at the family loan firm of his wife, Brenda. There he counts for little and has no means to fund the music company he wants to launch. He meets Rachel, a young singer, and starts an affair with her. Keeping two lives going wears on him, and he looks for a way out, knowing that leaving Brenda for Rachel would cost him the capital he needs. The strain grows in both relationships as he tries to keep them apart.
