Plot summary
Chen Shi is the last master of Wing Chun. He comes to Tianjin to open a school, and he defeats the disciples of Grandmaster Zheng Shan'ao, who offers to help Chen in return for his secrets. Chen refuses and chooses to beat fighters from eight Tianjin schools instead, a road Zheng says ends in expulsion. Zheng suggests that Chen train a local disciple and says he has a candidate ready. Madame Zou has her own plans for the city's martial arts community. Chen proposes marriage to Zhao Guohui, the waitress who serves him.
