Plot summary
Nick O'Bannon, a college student, spends his semester break at the McKinley Speedway with Lori Milligan, Hunt Wynorski and Janet Cunningham, watching a stock car race. Partway through, he has a vision of debris flying into the grandstand, wrecking it and killing him, his friends and many spectators. Nick panics, and the brawl he starts clears him and his companions out of the stands. Carter Daniels, Samantha Lane, the mechanic Andy Kewzer, Nadia Monroy and the security guard George Lanter also walk out. Then the crash from his vision happens for real, and the people who left the stands alive are the ones it should have killed.
