Plot summary
Their lifelong friend Marilyn is getting married, and Kitty and Alice receive invitations to the wedding. They want the old group back together for it, which means bringing Lou, who broke with Marilyn after Marilyn ran off with Lou's boyfriend John. They get Lou to Key West by claiming she has won a polydactyl cat in a raffle. The three of them reach Marilyn's house, where Lou is furious and plans to leave, all the more so once the raffle is exposed as a trick. Kitty talks her into staying, though Marilyn's presence keeps her agitated. While trying on dresses, Marilyn brings up the elopement, and Lou walks out of the shop.
