Plot summary
Danny Miller committed a murder when he was eleven years old and went to prison for it. The testimony that sent him there came from Tom Seymour, a forensic psychologist who appeared as an expert witness. Danny is now a young man, released from prison, and he reappears in Tom's life. Tom becomes involved in his treatment and is drawn into a reinvestigation of the case.
