Plot summary
Sonia cleans rooms at a hotel in Turin. While she is cleaning a guest's bathroom, the guest falls from the bedroom window to her death. At a speed dating event she meets Guido, once a policeman, now a security guard. The two spend time together afterward, and as they part Guido points out that the time is 23:23. In a double hour, he says, a wish can be made and it does not always come true. Some days later he takes her to the country villa where he works, which has an elaborate security system, and disables part of it so the two of them can walk in the grounds.
