Plot summary
Charlie works as a bank manager in a Florida supermarket and lives with his wife Nikki, who is cheating on him with her ex, Ted-O. At a high school reunion, Charlie reconnects with his old friend Max. Max takes him for a weekend on a rented yacht and then blows it up, faking both their deaths. Charlie wakes to learn Max has given them the identities of two unclaimed cadavers: Charlie becomes Dr. Ronald P. Fishman and Max becomes Butch Ryder. After seeing his own lackluster funeral and how quickly his life moved on, Charlie agrees to start over. A key found on Butch's body leads them to a safe deposit box in Puerto Rico, where they find money and the keys to a mansion. They soon learn the men they are impersonating were on the run from something.
