Plot summary
Dr. Hill is an art historian, and in 1989 he brings his daughter Lara with him across the Iron Curtain to an abandoned castle. On the road outside the castle a car has crashed, and from the wreck comes the beautiful and mysterious Carmilla. Lara smuggles her in and hides her there, and the two of them fall into an intoxicating relationship.
