Plot summary
Milo White is a recluse, and the song that calls up the demonic figure known as the Crooked Man is his creation. Olivia Shaw is twelve when she sings it at a slumber party. A friend of hers dies in a horrific and mysterious way after the song, and Olivia is blamed for the death. Six years later she returns to her hometown. A string of unusual deaths follows, and she believes that whatever she saw on that night is still haunting her. Singing the rhyme puts a curse on everyone in the house, and they die at the Crooked Man's hands.
