Plot summary
A gang calling itself the Bulleteers sends Metropolis an ultimatum: hand over the whole of the city treasury, or more public buildings will be wrecked. To prove the threat is real, the gang pilots a rocket car shaped like a bullet into the police department and destroys it. The mayor stands firm, so the gang blows up the town's power plant. Bullets fired by policemen bounce off the armored car. Lois Lane races to the scene, while Clark Kent remains behind. Clark ducks into a phone booth and emerges as Superman. The gang aims its car at the treasury building, and Superman lands in front of it.
