Plot summary
Archaeologists in the Siberian tundra uncover a giant dinosaur preserved in perfect condition and bring it to Metropolis, where the Museum of Natural Science identifies it as a Tyrannosaurus and keeps it cold with refrigeration equipment in one wing. A professor telephones the Daily Planet to say the creature might still be alive should the ice around it melt, so Perry White sends Lois Lane to cover the exhibit. Clark Kent offers to come along, and she refuses. While Lois tours the refrigeration plant, an oil can drops into the turbine. Workers shut the machinery down to make repairs, and the temperature climbs as guards clear the building.
