Trailer

Plot summary

After the fighting at Sinhung-ni, Wu Qianli leads the 7th Company of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army to a position 12 kilometers from Hagaru-ri, where units of the 20th Corps and Commander Yang's artillery battalion prepare to strike the airfield and the American supply base there. Aircraft from American carriers attack the columns closing on Hagaru-ri, and the artillery battalion's captured guns are destroyed; Wu Qianli takes his men to seize more from the American positions. Headquarters then pulls the 7th Company out of the Hagaru-ri fighting and sends it to destroy the Water Gate Bridge at Funchilin Pass, the only route left for the retreating Americans, in weather so cold that the company's compass stops working.
