Plot summary
A man steps onto the balcony of his Warsaw apartment and calls down to whoever passes in the street below. Some of the people stop and answer him. Every conversation that follows is a story in its own right, and each deals with the way a person copes with life as an individual. Taken together, the exchanges form a portrait of contemporary human life and a picture of the world as the passersby see it. The filming stretched across more than two years starting in 2018, and during 165 days of shooting close to two thousand individuals passed beneath the balcony.
