Plot summary
Marseille is in the grip of a 46-degree heat wave, and three roommates spend it on their balcony. Nicole wants to be a writer and is drafting a tale about a timid woman and the man next door. Ruby works as a webcam model. Elise is an actress who stays in character as Marilyn Monroe and is caught up in a complicated relationship with a lawyer named Paul. The three of them watch the man across the street and fantasize about him. When a minor accident befalls Elise, he invites them to his place.
