Plot summary
Tommy Hudler takes a job selling home security systems and makes his first sale to Gale Ancona, a widow, meeting her teenage son Howard. His boss, Heinrich Grigoris, and Sally celebrate the sale with him at dinner. When Tommy returns to set Gale's security code, the two sleep together. A pitch to the Fieldings goes nowhere, since Mr. Fielding says his gun collection keeps them safe. Heinrich names Tommy the spokesman for a commercial the company is filming. Tommy asks Gale to meet his parents and suggests a trip; she says their relationship is not that serious.
