Plot summary
Jodi Kreyman is sixteen and has been tall since she was three, which has made her insecure. Classmates joke about her height. Her older sister Harper is short and has won beauty pageants. Jack Dunkleman, a friend, keeps asking Jodi out, and she hesitates because he is shorter. Stig Mohlin, a Swedish exchange student, joins her class, and Jodi is interested in him. Kimmy Sticher, who bullies Jodi, starts showing Stig around. Dunkleman is unhappy that Stig will live at his house. Jodi asks Harper and their mother to help her get Stig's attention, and they give her a makeover.
