Plot summary
In San Miguel de Allende, Lucio and Martina attend a Catholic school, where they meet in their first years as students and find a chemistry between them that resists description. Together they explore their sexualities and fall deeper in love. A scandal cuts the high school romance short and sends each of them down a separate path. Twenty-five years later, a chance encounter in the street puts the two face to face. Each sets out to impress the other by inventing a spouse and a family, an ideal life that neither of them leads. Their school years come back in flashbacks.
