Plot summary
Clint Ramsey works the pumps at Martin Bormann's Super Service, a gas station in the desert, and the women he meets find him hard to resist. His wife SuperAngel is jealous and demanding, and she keeps calling his workplace to accuse him. Ordered home, he argues with her after turning down her advances. A neighbor alerts the police while Clint heads to a bar, where the bartender is SuperHaji. The officer who answers the complaint is Harry Sledge. His wife is killed, and the blame falls on him. Clint says he was in the bar all night, but SuperHaji refuses to back him up, so he hits the road.

- Charles Napier had appeared in a number of Russ Meyer's films before quitting acting to become a journalist for a trucking magazine, and Meyer brought him out of retirement to appear in Supervixens.
- After previewing Supervixens at Ivy League colleges and in Europe, Russ Meyer added more sex to the film in the two weeks before its national release, saying it would not have performed as well otherwise.
- Russ Meyer wrote the screenplay at the Mauna Kea Hotel in Hawaii in September 1973; it was the first screenplay he wrote entirely by himself, and he completed the first draft in eight days.

The British release of Supervixens cut a moment where Charles Napier stomps on a woman after killing her in a bath, and the R-rated version removed the bathtub murder altogether; Meyer said he would not do it again.- Edy Williams, the ex-wife of director Russ Meyer, later sued unsuccessfully for a portion of the film's profits.
- Bruce Springsteen mentions Supervixens in the chorus of his song "Pilgrim in the Temple of Love", and the band Garbage included a song called "Supervixen" on their self-titled debut album.
- Meyer rewrote the script nine times, taking input from the actors, because dialogue written in a room did not always flow as well when the actors spoke it aloud.
