Plot summary

Two would-be car thieves on the back streets of Chicago pass a jet black car, then turn back to a red sports car parked in its place. Inside, the ignition and the door handles are gone. The black car is wrecked by a car speeding down the road, and since nobody is found inside it, it goes to a police garage. There it puts itself back together and kills the crewman Hector. Ray, who owns the garage, sends Gordy, Al and Bobby to find him. Bobby's aunt Tilda arrives.
